Vitrolife announced that the company has entered into a partnership with Illumina, the leading player in technologies that are used for preimplantation genetic testing (PGT, also known as PGS). Under the license and commercialisation agreement, Vitrolife will gain distribution, development and commercialisation rights to Illumina’s PGT business for IVF in EMEA and Americas. We have a positive view of the strategy, which is in line with our previous expectations, pointing to an expansion within PGT as a natural next step for the company.
