In the light of the transitional stage of Saniona towards a commercial-stage biopharma company in rare diseases, the Board has appointed Rami Levin as a new Chief Executive Officer. The current CEO and one of the co-founders, Jorgen Drejer, remains active in the company, which we argue is important to emphasize. In this transitional stage of the company, the US market will be key in the two addressed, rare diseases. This is why our initial impressions of this CEO rotation is highly positive.
