Invisio utvecklar och säljer sedan 2007 röstkommunikationsutrustning för professionella användare; i huvudsak militärer. Strategiomläggningen bort från konsumentmarknaden har resulterat i en stark tillväxt. Invisios skalbara affärsmodell bygger på att bolaget via distributionspartners säljer hårdvara och anpassningar till lokala militära förhållanden. Tillverkningen sker dock företrädesvis hos kontraktstillverkare. Kunderna är specialstyrkor och reguljära arméer. Beställningar från specialstyrkor sker löpande medan reguljära arméer beställer genom upphandlingsprocesser. De befintliga kunderna utgörs av ett tiotal västerländska stater, i regel NATO. Bolaget avser att vinna upphandlingar i de 50-talet militära moderniseringsprogram som pågår världen över. En konkurrensfördel är förståelsen för militärens behov tillsammans med bolagets närhet till den världsledande danska hörapparatindustrin, vilket t.ex. betyder goda kunskaper i hur utrustningen ska sitta för att användaren ska vilja ha den på sig under lång tid. Invisios referenskunder är också en viktig parameter. Bolaget säljer sedan hösten 2013 till den amerikanska armén, men har innan dess under lång tid sålt till specialstyrkor som t.ex. Delta Force och Navy Seals. En nackdel är att Invisio inte har något patenträttsligt skydd för att inte konkurrenter utvecklar ekvivalenta erbjudanden men det finns höga barriärer då både upphandlingar och kontraktsperiod sträcker sig över många år.
