Redeye's estimates were significantly higher than the Q3 outcome. We think the report was weak, with a poor outlook in the traditional smartphones business, due to the capacity problems. We will therefore lower our smartphones estimates. However, we argue that the positive progress in smartcards (most notably the new sensor) trumps the bleak Q3 figures.
