During Q1, Cereno Scientific recorded net sales of SEK0m (0m) and operating expenses of SEK20.0m (13.3m), resulting in an operating loss of SEK-8.7m (-12.3m).
Operating cash flow was SEK-7.0m (-4.2m), and the cash position at the end of the quarter amounted to SEK44.6m (77.3m).

KEY ACTIVITIES AND NEWS FLOW
During the quarter, Cereno Scientific delivered news flow mainly related to the company’s projects CS1 in PAH and CS014:
CS1 in PAH
Cereno Scientific informed about the progress with its CS1 Phase II trial in PAH. All nine clinical sites have been activated, three patients have been randomized and have entered the treatment period. Topline results are expected at the end of 2023.

CS014
The preclinical drug candidate CS014 will continue toward clinical development for thrombosis prevention. According to Cereno Scientific CS014 has, in preclinical studies, demonstrated anti-thrombotic properties without bleeding, supporting the selection of target indication with the aim of preventing thrombosis. The clinical phase I study is expected to start in 2024.
